Dear LifeScan Customer:

The OneTouch® Profile® and OneTouch® II Meter Owner's Booklet lists a hematocrit range* for an older version of OneTouch® Basic®/Profile®/OneTouch® II Test Strips (gray color) that are no longer sold in the United States.

This information is different from the outdated hematocrit range of 25-60% stated in the Owner's Booklet.

Please keep this addendum with your OneTouch Profile or OneTouch II Meter's Owner's Booklet. If you have any questions about this issue, please call LifeScan Customer Service at 866 621-6103.

Please be aware that this issue does not affect any other LifeScan Product.

* Hematocrit is the percentage of volume of red blood cells in your blood, and hematocrit that is too low or too high can cause false results when testing. When testing with the OneTouch Profile or OneTouch II Meters, hematocrit below 30 percent is too low, and hematocrit above 55 percent is too high. This information is also listed on the package insert with all currently sold OneTouch Basic/Profile/OneTouch II Test Strips (blue color).
