If you’re a university student in a bachelor’s or advanced degree program and are interested in impacting the world of health care, we invite you to explore LifeScan and our OneTouch® Products as a place to establish and advance your career.

How We Hire
The majority of recruiting for LifeScan is done through targeted, on-campus interviews at selected universities during the traditional fall and spring recruiting seasons. We also seek qualified individuals from a centralized resume database from which other Johnson & Johnson Companies search for prospective candidates.

How to Apply

  • To include your profile in our centralized database, as well as to view specific career opportunities, we invite you to visit the Johnson & Johnson Careers Web site, where you can:
  • Explore current career opportunities with LifeScan by using the Search Controls (select the drop down menu for Organization: Company and select LifeScan). You may also search for career opportunities within other Johnson & Johnson Companies.
  • Establish or edit your career profile. Connect to both current and future opportunities at LifeScan and throughout the Johnson & Johnson Family of Companies. You can also sign up to receive e-mail notifications when positions become available that align with the interests you include in your profile.

Internships and Co-op Positions
Internships and co-op positions enable candidates pursuing various college degrees to gain high-quality, real-world exposure to different career paths while experiencing what it’s like to be part of an organization dedicated to improving health care and quality of life. Opportunities in both programs are always changing, depending on current business needs.

An internship is typically a three-month, full-time assignment beginning in May or June and ending in August. Part-time internships are available, allowing students to work part-time all year or for a specific period of time while attending classes at their college or university.

Co-op positions typically are full-time assignments that last for six months, from January through June or August, or from June through December. Students generally take a full semester off from school. Depending on the college or university, students may receive credit for their co-op work experience.

Campus Events
Discover what LifeScan is all about by attending a recruiting event on your campus or at national diversity conferences. You’ll have an opportunity to talk with a LifeScan recruiter and learn about our company and explore specific career opportunities.

You should also register with your university Career Services/Placement Office, and check with them frequently to learn about new events, which may be attended by LifeScan or other Johnson & Johnson Companies.
