Getting Started
FOLLOW THESE SIMPLE STEPS TO GET STARTED
  1. Download & Install the OneTouch® Blood Glucose Meter device driver.
    In order for the Microsoft® HealthVault™ Connection Center to recognize and properly communicate with your OneTouch® Blood Glucose Meter, you will need to download and install the most recent device driver.
  2. Make sure you have the proper OneTouch™ USB Interface Cable and OneTouch™ USB Interface Cable Driver.
    • Before you can upload your blood glucose results to your Microsoft® HealthVault™ account, you will need a OneTouch™ USB Interface Cable to connect your OneTouch® Blood Glucose Meter to your computer. For a limited time, LifeScan is offering this interface Cable at NO CHARGE to qualified customers.

      To order your OneTouch™ USB Interface Cable, please call ALOM Technologies at 1-888-334-9522, Monday through Friday, 6:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Pacific Standard Time.
    • To use this cable, you must first download and install the OneTouch™ USB Interface Cable Driver.
  3. Now you are ready to import your data to the Microsoft® HealthVault™ Connection Center and upload it to your Microsoft® HealthVault™ account!
    • Before connecting your blood glucose meter to a computer using the OneTouch™ USB Interface Cable, make sure the device is in the appropriate on or off position:
      - If you have the OneTouch® UltraSmart® Meter, turn your device to the 'on' position.
      - If you have the OneTouch® Ultra® or OneTouch® Ultra®2 Meter, turn your device to the 'off' position.
    • Once your device is properly connected, select the icon for your device in the Microsoft® HealthVault™ Connection Center, click "Import Data to Connection Center," then "Upload data to HealthVault" and follow the on-screen instructions.
Congratulations, you have successfully uploaded your data into your Microsoft® HealthVault™ account! Sign in to your Microsoft® HealthVault™ account to view your data.
