How does the upgrade let me get the software?
How does the download let me get the software? You access the software in a two-step process, first downloading the software and then installing it on your PC.

During the download, you will copy an executable program file onto your computer, saving it into a folder or location of your choice. This file is named OneTouchSetup.exe.

Once this file has been saved, you will install it by double-clicking on the file name (OneTouchSetup.exe) in the location where you saved it on your PC.

Are there any limitations that could interfere with the download?
OneTouchSetup.exe is a large file to download. For this reason, this complimentary upgrade is intended for high-speed Internet connections. It is not intended for dial-up connections. (The upgrade could take many hours with a dial-up connection. Furthermore, if the download were to be interrupted during that time, you would need to restart the process.)

What happens after I select "download?"
A dialog box will appear. It will overlay this Web page.

The appearance of this box will vary depending on your Internet browser. However, your choices should include options to “Open” or “Save” the file. (“Save” is usually the default.)

IMPORTANT: You must choose "Save." This action will initiate a download of the upgrade file to your computer's hard drive. (Choosing “Open” will lead the browser to try to open OneTouchSetup.exe over the Internet, which would not allow you to obtain the software.)

You must choose "Save"

You will be given the option to select where to save the file – it doesn't matter which location you choose on your PC. Just remember where the file is located so that you can continue with set-up after the download is complete.

Once the process is initiated, allow the download to proceed. A status or message box should inform you of progress.

How long will the download take?
As noted above, this download is intended only for high-speed connections. The download time will vary significantly, according to the speed of your connection.

Can I use my computer in the meantime?
Yes, you may use your computer during downloading.

What should I do after the download is complete?
Install softwareAfter you have saved OneTouchSetup.exe on your computer, go to the file. Double-click on it. The file will open, and you will see instructions for executing the installation.

If you've read the instructions, then you're ready to begin!
