Error 429 Patch

In certain instances, you may see an Error 429 message when you try to start the OneTouch Diabetes Management Software application.

Run-time error '429'

This means that the installation of the software was not completed successfully or some files were deleted/missing that are needed for the application to run correctly. To fix the problem, please:

1) Download the Error 429 Patch.
2) After downloading the file, double click on it to run it.
3) Say Yes to:

Are you sure you want to apply the patch for OneTouch Software v2.0?


4) After the patch is applied successfully, say OK to:

OneTouch Software v2.0 patch applied successfully


5) Try to start the software again. It should open up correctly without displaying the Error 429 message shown.

6) If you have trouble with any of the patch steps, please contact LifeScan Customer Service.
