LifeScan’s Response to the Invasion of Ukraine

For over 40 years, LifeScan’s vision has been to create a world without limits for people with diabetes and related conditions, and this remains as strong today as ever, and perhaps when our support is needed most. Therefore, we are responding to the urgent humanitarian need for diabetes health medical supplies resulting from the invasion of Ukraine.

As part of our longstanding commitment to supporting numerous relief efforts around the world, LifeScan is working with the non-profit humanitarian organization, Direct Relief, to respond to the urgent need to supply much-needed blood glucose testing supplies to the many Ukrainians now without access to critical health products. We have also taken steps to help ensure continued patient access to our essential diabetes health supplies in every country where we operate, including Russia. At the same time, we are careful to comply with current and future export control restrictions and international sanctions.

Forever weighing on our thoughts are also our LifeScan team members in areas affected by this conflict. Their safety is our priority, and we are closely monitoring and responding to their needs and staying connected. Our global employees are also making personal contributions to relief efforts via voluntary charitable donations.

Millions of people globally depend on our products every day to manage their diabetes, and we remain committed to providing access to our products in every country where we operate. Every LifeScan employee takes this commitment very seriously, without exception.

Of course, our greatest wish is for a peaceful resolution urgently.
